Sonicare for Kids App
Project lead for building an iOS app connected to the Philips Sonicare Kids brush via Bluetooth. Provided fun and immersive gamified brushing experience for kids. Later also ported to Android. The gamified experience is entirely built in Unity Game Engine.
- Custom Bluetooth driver developed for iOS to allow direct communication with the brush hardware.
- A translation layer from Objective-C to C# for use in Unity.
- Integration into Philip’s own native iOS and Android App.

Start of the brushing experience. This can be done with manual brushing as well as default Bluetooth-enabled brushing.

Mindful Powers
The Unity app created to help kids with being Mindfulness. Single developer effort with single artist and single Creative Director. An internally funded project that was proven to be successful. Released in 2017, and still a strong seller at the Apple app store.
- Created the app from start to finish.
- Nonlinear and adaptive music system. Working closely with the musician for this project to implement an internal audio system, which allowed the collection of smaller music clips to be dynamically adapted to the game state to generate dynamic music. There are many adaptive music systems out there, but they are not suitable for mobile targets. This new system is lightweight and easy to use.
